Senior Consultant

A strategic human capital consultant, Melynda Benlemlih has over 20 years of experience identifying organizational  needs in the private, non-profit and federal sectors and developing solutions that work. Her areas of expertise include organization assessment and design, best practice research, change management and communications, coaching and leadership development. She is a seasoned facilitator and coach who enables groups and leaders to develop strategies, goals, and implementation tactics that result in improved focus for themselves, their teams, and their organizations. 

Melynda’s background is in traditional qualitative research; surveys, interviews, observations, focus groups, and developing thematic analyses to inform solutions. Her passion is working with leaders using a co-active approach to enable them to navigate dynamic decision-making environments, achieve breakthroughs in relationships, and realize success in reaching their goals. 

Melynda is a savvy cross-cultural consultant with specializations in Chinese and Arabic languages and cultures. She worked in Taiwan for three years developing and delivering cross-cultural training in the higher education sector and applies deep subject matter expertise to foster cross-cultural understanding and appreciation for diversity.  She has consulted with the Departments of Agriculture, Defense, Homeland Security, 

Transportation, non-profit associations, higher education, and the private sector. 

Melynda holds an M.A. from The Ohio State University in Workforce Education and Development, and received her B.A. from Bowling Green State University in International Studies/Political Science.  She is certified in the Co-Active Coach Training Program, CTI, and has a Specialization in Design Thinking for Innovation from the Darden School of Business at the  University of Virginia.  She is a certified administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) , the Gallup StrengthsFinder Assessment training, and the DACUM Job and Task Analysis Facilitation training from The Ohio State University, Center on Education and Training for Employment. 

Melynda also has her PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute, received her certification in Graphic Facilitation I & II, Crowley & Co., and the OPM Human-Centered Design Training  from The Innovation Lab @ OPM.  

She is the Co-Founder and Vice-President of The Alliance of Creative Professional Women [501(c)[3], a member of the Leadership and Coaching Communities of Practice of the Association for Talent Development, and a member of the International Forum of Visual Practitioners.
