T.H. Easter Consulting Launches White Paper, “Diversity Impact in Competitive Industries: Inclusion Beyond the Check Box for Energy, Power, Law and Professional Services”
Wilmington, DE (PRWEB) July 01, 2014 — T.H. Easter Consulting announced today that Terri Hartwell Easter will deliver the keynote presentation at the Delaware Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Diversity & Inclusion Conference on July 8th, 2014. Ms. Easter’s presentation “Moving Beyond the Numbers” will offer attendees a preview of her appearance at the National SHRM Diversity & Inclusion Conference & Exposition being held October 13-15, 2014 at the Sheraton New Orleans.
In tandem with the keynote presentation, T.H. Easter Consulting announced the launch of its first white paper: “Diversity Impact in Competitive Industries: Inclusion Beyond the Check Box for Energy, Power, Law and Professional Services,” which is available for download.
“Diversity is so often overlooked as a strategic imperative, much less a business growth opportunity. It’s time for companies to realize and leverage the full value of diverse employees,” commented Terri Hartwell Easter, principal of T.H. Easter Consulting. ”We lead companies to move away from solely metric-focused tactics and toward leadership and employee engagement-focused strategies. The reason is simple: organizations that invest in building sustainable, diverse workforces through strong employee engagement are the ones that will achieve increased productivity and profits, and reduced turnover.”
T.H. Easter Consulting recently sponsored a study by APQC entitled “The Leadership Skills Deficit” that examined the drivers and potential solutions for a growing leadership skills gap that the most competitive and institutional knowledge-rich industries face today. The study found that only 8% of companies develop leadership capabilities in all employees. At the upcoming SHRM state-wide Diversity & Inclusion Conference, Ms. Easter will cover a range of high impact initiatives, case studies and employee engagement strategies that include diverse populations and innovate business practices, even in some of the most highly competitive industries where change is often difficult and resisted.
“Terri is a dynamic and thought-provoking speaker,” said Gina Edwards, Diversity Chair on DE SHRM State Council. “She is an expert in the field of Human Capital Leadership, Diversity & Inclusion and Talent Acquisition. Her method of delivery is refreshing and enlightening! You will not be disappointed with the information that will be shared at this event!”
Prior to founding T.H. Easter Consulting, Ms. Easter was the COO of an AmLaw 100 firm. She is a management consultant, HR expert, and executive coach with nearly 30 years’ experience and a trademark for driving innovative, informed solutions to some of the toughest HR management challenges in highly regulated, competitive industries. She is a graduate of Southwestern University, completed graduate coursework in business administration from Howard and Harvard Universities, as well as specialized training in business process re-engineering and service quality management from the Disney Institute and Stanford University.
