Terri Hartwell Easter Nominated as 2016 Delaware Valley HR Consultant of the Year

BETHESDA, Md.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Terri Hartwell Easter, Principal of T.H. Easter Consulting, management consultancy, has been nominated for HR Consultant of the Year. The 2016 Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year Awards will be held on May 19th, 2016 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The 2016 Event Chair, Deanna Glose, shared, “As with each year, we are impressed by the talent and contributions our 30 nominees have made to the HR Profession and community. The HR Person of the Year Awards Dinner is a very special evening for the HR community. The Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year Awards was developed in 2001 to celebrate the Human Resources industry and to recognize those in the HR profession who exemplify outstanding achievement within the Greater Delaware Valley human resources community.

The Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year Awards is a joint effort between HR Association of Southern New Jersey, Chester County Human Resource AssociationDelaware County SHRMDelaware SHRMGreater Valley Forge HR AssociationPhiladelphia SHRMTri-State HR Management Association chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Awards are given in the following categories:

Terri Hartwell Easter

Terri Hartwell Easter has over 25 years of experience managing all facets of Human Resources strategy including programmatic design for diversity and inclusion, executive and professional development and organizational change. In 2007, she started her own consulting practice with a focus on helping clients solve their most important human resources challenges. Through the practice, Terri is engaged in designing strategic solutions for talent management, diversity and inclusion, and business and organizational improvements as well as executive recruitment and executive coaching for executives and professionals.

Before starting her practice, Terri was the Chief Operating Officer of a major Washington, DC firm. In addition to working in a legal setting, Terri has work experience from management consulting, banking and in the Carter White House. Throughout her career, she has had responsibility for achieving organizational results through effectively managing professional, technical and operations teams. She has been particularly successful in coaching professionals and executives interested in transitioning their careers from one area of specialty to another. She is a Ph. D candidate in the Human and Organizational Development Program at Fielding Graduate University, has received graduate training at Harvard and Howard Universities and holds a BS in Business Administration from Southeastern University. Terri is also an Executive Coach with certification training in the Sherpa Coaching Method.
