Susan’s experience with and interest in diversity in the legal profession began when she joined New York Law School as the associate director of admissions. This experience has continued through roles at Georgetown University Law Center, and Crowell & Moring, LLP, where Susan was charged with developing recruiting events and materials aimed at diverse students. Susan also served as a member of the firm’s Attorney Development Committee and its Diversity Committee, and she was an integral part of the attorney development process. After two years, Susan was promoted to Director of Human Resources at Crowell & Moring.

As an attorney, Susan appeared before numerous federal district and appeals courts. She is an inactive member of the Louisiana and Pennsylvania bar associations.

Susan has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Louisiana State University, and a Juris Doctor degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State.
