Gretchen Easter joined T.H. Easter Consulting in 2015 as Director of Client Services and Business Development. She has primary responsibility for managing client relationships, while actively sourcing new business opportunities for the firm.

Gretchen’s professional background is rooted in work in the juvenile and adult prison systems as a youth counselor, training officer, and in various management positions. She served as Deputy Commissioner for the California State Parole Board deciding the fate of inmates and parolees in the Criminal Justice system. A dynamic speaker, Gretchen has moderated and spoken at conferences for organizations such as the California Black Chamber of Commerce, the California Association of Black Correctional Workers, and the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. She also has spoken before a variety of groups, including the Women’s Program at the University of Alaska, Anchorage; the Sacramento Women’s Writers Group; and the Philadelphia Prison System. She was an adjunct professor at Sacramento City College and a guest lecturer at Delta College and the McGeorge School of Law.

Gretchen earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from California Baptist University-Riverside, CA in Behavioral Science and a Master’s of Arts degree from the Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, CA in Education. For the past 10 years she has served her church as a member of the Christian Education Board and Director of the Youth Ministry.
